  2. What is myVI?

    myVI is a web service that enables recruiters to monitor a large volume of web pages automatically for changes and be alerted of potential job vacancy leads by email.

    Since myVI also stores snapshots of web page content, it is also possible to perform fast searches across all your pages at any time.

  3. What is VIdata?

    VIdata is an optional add-on to your myVI account, providing extra career pages from our database to be combined with your own for more leads.

    We constantly research new career pages and organise them by country, region and county. This helps you to choose and pay for only the pages relevant to your business.

  4. How often are my pages checked?

    At least once a day.

  5. How many emails will I receive?

    Only one per day, which will list detected alerts across all your career pages, with snippets of text showing the context of the alert. The email contains direct links back to the pages allowing you to quickly pursue possible leads.

  6. Where is my data stored?

    The service and all data is stored on secure data centre servers managed by Brightbox, a reputable hosting company based in Leeds.

  7. Is my data private?

    Yes. Provided you do not share your login password, your account is only accessible by you and our IT support team.

  8. Can I export my data?

    Yes. All your URLs can be exported at any time to a CSV file, which can be viewed directly, or imported into another database or spreadsheet, or simply held as a local backup.

  9. Why is myVI a web service?

    Our servers have faster connection speeds to the internet, so are able to check more web pages more quickly and without using any of your local internet connection bandwidth.

    There is no software installation. myVI is instantly available to all machines with an internet connection.

    You can access your account from anywhere via the internet, including from mobile devices.

    We look after server and database administration, maintenance, and data backups.

    You can benefit from continuous improvements to the myVI service, without installing anything new.

    If you subscribe to VIdata you will always have access to our latest data.

    As a subscription based service, there are none of the upfront costs usually associated with buying a software package and a server to run it on.
